"Ambleside at the Lake" is the name of our cabin in beautiful Christina Lake, BC! Named from our travels to the Lake District of England, Ambleside was the town in the heart of the Lake District for water sports, hiking, and outdoor recreation. With a similar feeling to Ambleside, we found Christina Lake, BC to be a summer holiday, winter vacation, and year round get-away. Approximately 6 hrs from Vancouver or 1½ hours past Osoyoos, BC on Hwy 3, the opportunities for recreation are endless, the scenery is spectacular, the climate is fantastic, and Christina Lake itself is recognized as the warmest "tree-lined" lake in Canada with an average summer temperature of 22°C! Called BC's "Recreation Paradise", some say Christina Lake is one of the best kept secrets in British Columbia, Canada, and we would love to share this with you and your family.
